Maritime from Anderson Township who criticized Afghan withdrawal suggests he’s been discharged

Stuart Scheller, a former officer in the Maritime Corps with ties to the Cincinnati location who obtained nationwide notice immediately after criticizing leaders about the pullout from Afghanistan, introduced he has been discharged from the Marine Corps.

Scheller mentioned he was permit go from the Maritime Corps on Thursday in a Fb article.

“I am filled with mixed emotions. I would like to sincerely thank the Marine Corps for forging me into a person. And from the bottom of my heart, I would like to thank all the Marines who served, led, bled, and suffered along with me the previous 17 a long time,” Scheller wrote.

He also thanked those people who donated to assist with his legal expenses though he was in custody.

In August, Scheller, who went to Anderson High College and the College of Cincinnati, posted a video demanding accountability from senior leaders right after an assault killed 13 U.S. assistance associates in Kabul, Afghanistan. Before long following, he was relieved of his command.

What adopted was a collection of videos and social media posts from Scheller violating a gag purchase. Scheller was then held in pretrial confinement at Camp Lejeune.

Scheller finished his Facebook post by expressing he is likely on a media blitz, setting up with staying a guest on the Fox News show Tucker Carlson Tonight on Jan. 4.
