Gentleman abducted at knifepoint from NT servo

Two armed adult males accused of violently abducting a guy from a company station in the Northern Territory have been charged.

Police say the knife-wielding adult men, aged 22 and 24, pressured their way into a 46-yr-previous man’s ute in Pinelands, south of Darwin, about 5am on December 9.

“They allegedly compelled the driver to just take them to (nearby) stores in Grey, where by the gentlemen exited the automobile and fled the scene,” a police spokeswoman claimed.

Officers located the young gentleman in Katherine, 320km south of Darwin, on Christmas Day.

He was charged with assault, threatening with a weapon, deprivation of liberty, moving into a making with intent, and thieving.

The 24-12 months-old was arrested by Katherine law enforcement on Tuesday and also charged with assault, threatening with a weapon, deprivation of liberty, coming into a constructing with intent and thieving.

Both males will look in court on Wednesday.
