A Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy has submitted a lawsuit alleging that her job was thwarted right after she resolved a near buddy of Sheriff Alex Villanueva’s spouse was unfit to serve as a deputy.

Deputy Lina Pimentel claimed her “vocation progression has now been effectively terminated for the reason that of Vivian Villanueva’s personalized attacks on her,” in accordance to the lawsuit filed in L.A. County Remarkable Courtroom this week.
