Stephen Marlow, a “human being of desire,” is very likely armed and risky, Butler Township Law enforcement Chief John Porter stated at a media briefing.
Porter claimed Marlow was 5’11” and about 160 pounds, with brown hair. Authorities feel Marlow, 39, was putting on shorts and a yellow T-shirt and fled in a white 2007 Ford Edge.
Law enforcement responded to a report of shots fired just just before midday, Porter mentioned, and the four victims died at the scenes.
“This is the initially violent criminal offense in this neighborhood in the latest memory,” Porter explained. “We are functioning to establish if there was any motive to this horrible tragedy or if mental health issues performed any purpose,” the main mentioned.
“I would have in no way, even in this neighborhood, I would never count on just about anything, never,” Chapman explained to the Dayton station.
Law enforcement do not believe that there is an ongoing threat to the neighborhood but have deployed added crews and the Dayton Police Bomb Squad out of an abundance of warning, Porter said.
Porter stated men and women really should contact the police dispatch if they have information and facts on Marlow’s whereabouts or see the Ford Edge. He also urged people in the community to appear at online video footage from previously Friday.
Butler Township is a town of just below 8,000 citizens about 9 miles north of Dayton.
